Hidden Elijah's And Melchizedek's Of The Kingdom (Part 2) - Rod Mills
God is calling us to be hidden Elijahs, a part of the remnant set apart for God, whose hearts are fully devoted to Him. This calling involves being a spiritual father or mother, living in obscurity, and relinquishing our own ideas of success to invest in the future generations of the Kingdom of God.

It’s good to see everybody and this is a beautiful day of the Lord. I am excited to enter the next phase of this little series we're doing where we're reviewing and expanding our study of the hidden Elijah's and kind of expanding it also to study the Melchizedek 's of the kingdom. And last time, we were together in this last session, I did not really get into much on the Melchizedek of the kingdom. So today, we'll start to get into that. But it's only going to be the first part of it, of course, we're going to go much deeper, I think. But I want to ask you guys also to be studying this because a lot of times the what happens as we are in a series or we're studying something, everyone else starts studying it. And then there's a lot of sharing, there's a lot of Revelation. And actually, the Lord actually gives you teachings and messages and directions that are related to this. And it's not just for you, it's for the whole body. And not just for our body, our spiritual family, and friends, but also people that are listening to us on the teaching library as well. So we examined some of the characteristics last week of the hidden Elijah's and those whom Paul refers to as a remnant. Now, hopefully, I shared a little bit when we originally shared this. And then I've shared more now, about the remnant, I've come to believe that the remnant is more than just who believers are. And I went into some detail on that last week. In other words, I used to believe that all Christians are the remnant. I'm not sure that's true after reading Romans 11. And studying the way Paul uses the word remnant, and specifically relates it to the hidden Elijah as the 7000, who had not bowed their need to bail. I believe there were probably more believers in Israel than 7000. But I believe that God had reserved 7000 for himself, who fit those characteristics that we talked about. So it introduces the idea in Romans 11, Paul's use of the remnant that the remnant is people with specific characteristics in their pursuit of God, keeping the covenant and the things that we talked about last week, and you could go back and listen to that, for the specifics on that. But one of the most notable characteristics of the 7000 of what we're what I'm calling the hidden Elijah, sometimes I refer to them as the unknown Elijah's is that they are reserved by God, for God, for Himself, He reserves them, he said, He reserves them for himself. And so they're in relative earthly obscurity. Now, I don't mean no one knows who they are, of course, everyone is known by someone. But the point is that they're in relatively relative obscurity on the earth compared to other people, or some other people, and extraordinary fame in heaven. So there's this contrast going on. Not too many people on the earth know who they are, but there's this fame in heaven. And that when I say heaven, I don't just mean the people in heaven. I mean, in their spiritual realms. If you remember, even and there's different theories on this from theologians, I won't go into it. But you remember, when Jesus tells the story of the rich man and Lazarus, he did not say that was a parable. And in parables, he didn't name people, right. And he talks about the rich man and Lazarus. And he says, that the rich man looked over and saw Lazarus in the bosom of Abraham, in other words, in close friendship with Abraham, so even in that setting, now some people say well, that was shield they can't see into heaven, Baba blah. I don't know the story. But I don't know the how that works is my point. But I do believe that there is an awareness in the heavens, both good and evil. And I don't know how that works. And there are some indications in the Revelation. You remember that heaven rejoiced whenever Satan is this is in the final days when he's removed from those higher dimensions, what some people call the second heaven what some theologians have called the second heaven where Satan resides. And the third heaven of course, is where Paul says he knew man in Christ that went to the third heaven, and that is where the saints of glory are in the presence of God. I don't mean to get into a teaching on that, but just to say, there is a knowledge and an awareness in the spiritual realms of the earth and what goes on, I don't know. For example, I don't know if people in hell know what's going on on the earth. I'm not saying that I don't know how that works. But we do know that the saints know what's going on on the earth, don't we? Because the Scripture says that in Hebrews one that we have this great cloud of witnesses. Notice he didn't say, observers, he said witnesses, so they are witnessing to the move of God in the earth. And then we see in John's revelation that they are also governing by prayer, and intercession. And we aren't teaching on that either. But it's this I'm just doing an overview to say, there's an awareness in the heavens of what's going on. And there's an awareness in the kingdom of darkness of what's going on. And I use this example many times, where the guy who doesn't know the Lord decides that he's going to cast out demons like Paul does. And so when he does, he doesn't have the power of God. He's not carrying the power of Jesus Christ. So what he does is he thinks it's just going to be by the words, I'll say the same words, they say, in the name of Jesus. And then he even clarifies, he goes in the name of Jesus, the one whom Paul preaches, Come out of him in the Bible says, Jesus, we know, the demon said, Jesus, we know. And then they said, Paul, we know what does that mean? See, they had an awareness of Paul, they an awareness of ministry, I guarantee you, the kingdom of darkness has an awareness of your ministry. If you are walking in God, and you're ministering, there's an awareness there. And this says, The demonic spirits attack them. But the point I'm trying to make is that there's an awareness in the spiritual realms, both in the heavens and among the kingdom of darkness of things going on and who's who. So even if you are living in relative obscurity, like the 7000 Gods is I've reserved these for myself, but they're still operating it. Just because they're not famous on the Earth doesn't mean they're not operating extraordinary power. Because God goes, there's many that I don't want them in that place. I want them reserved for myself. I don't want them encumbered with all of the things of being famous and being rich and having all this stuff because then there's these layers of apparatus they have to have in their lives and manage and on and on and on. And they don't have privacy, and they can't, they can't go do missions work without issues and problems and people are like, and then they got to worry about all these things, kidnappers and ransom, you see what I'm saying? There's all these things they got to be concerned about. We don't think about that. But in fact, God reserves many for himself so they can be focused on Him be focused on his work, and they don't have to be encumbered by all those things. Yet. The contrast is, even though they live in earthly absurd, relative earthly obscurity, of course, some know, they live in a heavenly fame, they are known. They are known in the spiritual realms, and we see in Scripture both in the heavens and in the kingdom of darkness. So this idea of seeking to live in humility, and humility, that is what we'll call this obscurity on Earth is relative obscurity. It's completely opposite. And it's completely counterculture to the world's values today. And we mentioned that last week, society today keeps telling people that they're not significant, unless they're rich, and they're famous. And then once they get rich and famous, they can do whatever they want. And people, you guys know what I'm talking about. They in their minds. Now there's this ethos in our society that says, oh, once you're rich and famous, you could do what you want. You can you know, all of this stuff, because you're rich, you're famous. And that's why we see outlandish things ridiculous, foolish, wicked, all these things they're doing because the the hubris of modernity and the hubris of extraordinary fame and money causes the real person that's on the inside to come out and work in wickedness. And so the world is teaching our society today to pursue these things become an influencer, have a brand people know even on Facebook, you know, people who are not that well known, they've got a brand and they want people to think us feel a certain way about him. You know, if they just you know, they they present a certain brand, because they're living in this artificial A World By the way, this is part of what our retreats about this year, is really getting back to what is real, getting back to the true getting back to true friendships, true relationships, true living, not this artificial living in what society is really creating this artificial world. But there the world is calling people to love and pursue these things. I was watching a YouTube video here a while back, and it was interviewing people. I can't remember it was a long time ago, decades and decades ago. And they were just interviewing people on the street. And they were saying, Tell me what's important for you. When you look for a spouse, what's important to you in life? You know what most of them said? Most of them said, I want I want to marry a person with character. I want someone who has character, and they're virtuous, and they do the right thing. You don't hear that today, people in America anyway, I'll speak for America, because I'm an American. They don't speak that way. And when you ask people, well, what do you what do you want in life, they didn't say, Well, I just want to be happy. Or I just want to make myself happy. They said, I want to be a person that people can respect who has honor. And I was like, wow. And it was completely different than it is now. So society is going down this way of perversion, and calling people into this and guys want to tell you, it's starting to infect the church. And I'm not here to condemn anyone, I'm here to really preach to the choir, if you will, because we have a message to carry. And that is it. The world is telling people, they can't be significant, unless they're known in the world unless they're this and unless they're that and God saying, wait a minute, you're already known come to me, and you will be known and loved. There is no greater significance that you can have. And you can live your life really in almost total obscurity and obey God and do what he's called you to do. And the significance of eternity will be upon you, you will be known, you'll be well known. And it's not about being known, but you will be known and we'd need to belong. There's something in us that knows, I need to be known and belonged. I need people who know my name. And I mean, no, my heart. No, my you need people in your life who know your heart. They know you, they love you. They trust you. We need those people in our lives. And that significance ultimately comes from God. And we see that God says concerning the 7000, he had reserved them for himself, because he's saying they are known by me. See what illogic goes, Hey, there's nobody out here. And he's like, Hey, there's somebody who's known by me. And there's 7000 of them. These are people I'm close to. Now I'm paraphrasing, but in essence, God saying, these are people who are covenant keepers, I'm in close relationship with them. They know me and I know them. And there's no comparison to just being a believer, you need to come in and be this intimate 7000 that God's calling us to. And I believe that there are many carrying the mantle of Elijah, spiritual fathers and mothers in our day. And they are not pursuing those things, those branding, even in ministry, that will cause them to be known or caused them to have a big finance, big financial income with the ministry and all these other things, but they're focused on being spiritual fathers and mothers, and they're focused on the next generations. As soon as you and I commit ourselves to the next generations, we have to uncommit ourselves a certain amount to our own success. Because the times you guys I'm speaking in this group, I'm speaking to a bunch of parents, you know what I'm talking about. You have to make sacrifices in life, to say yes to the next generation. And there are many things Beth and I, we don't talk about these to our kids, because we don't want them to feel bad. There were many things we wanted to do. There were many things on our hearts that we would love to do that we wanted to do. I'll share with with you one of them. One of the things I really really, really, really, I'll say, really 100 More times wanted to do was I wanted to move to Israel. And I wanted to become fluent in Hebrew. So I could study the Old Testament Bible and just be fluent in it because I knew people who were not great students, but they moved in they became immersed and they learn the language and they could read and write. And I thought, Man, I would love to do that. But that wasn't that wasn't in God's plan for my life. And because I had to make sacrifices because I had a family and I had kids and I couldn't afford I had friends that could to Ford it, because they didn't have the responsibilities I had? Well, there are many things like that I could, I could spend the rest of the whole day just telling you dreams and things. But I don't talk about those very much. Because I don't want the people I love to feel bad. I'm not sorry, I did what I did. I'm not sorry, I made the sacrifice. But the point is that we, as soon as we commit to the next generations, not just naturally in our physical families, but our spiritual families, we start uncoming to things the world says are successful. Everyone here, you can go back and go, when I committed to this, when I committed to the work of God here, when I committed to this family here, when I committed this spiritual family here, you could pull out a piece of paper right now and start writing down the things that you sacrificed. The things that you had to lay on the altar and go, I can't do this. Now, some of those things, God redeemed some of them, he goes, You know what later in life, I'm going to make a way for you. But there's no guarantee. And David says, I will not give him anything that costs me nothing. It is it is a god is part of carrying our cross, Jesus says, If anyone comes after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. So I can't take up my cross until I deny myself, right. And I can't follow Him until I take up my cross. A lot of people are trying to follow Jesus and they're not taking up their cross. And they're not denying themselves. And it's really hard to do that. It's it's impossible to follow Jesus without denying ourselves and taking up our cross. So here we find that we commit ourselves to a way in God in it is a way of humility. It's a way of sacrifice. It's the way of saying, Lord, I just, I don't care about fame, and fortune, and all this other stuff that the world says is important. I don't care who knows my name on the earth, I care who knows my name and eternity. Most of all, I care that God knows my name. But I also want other people that I love who love me, I want them to know my name. Those are the people, the people who will attend my funeral on this side, and the people who will attend my entrance and graduation. On the other side, those are the people who know your name. And those are the people that that really count in life. So we understand from scripture that it doesn't matter how many people know your name, it only matters, who knows your name, right. And you are significant when you're known by God, the hidden Elijah's know God, and they are known well, by God, we see that from Romans 11. And we do not mean you guys know this. But for those that are listening, we do not mean that God knows about them, there's a difference. God knows about everybody. So he knows every name like he knows them, as far as who they are. And he knows every trait, and he knows how many hairs are on their head and knows what their DNA looks like. And he knows everything about their lives past, present and future. That's not what we're talking about. We're talking about people God knows in relationship because he's been given permission to enter into a deep relationship. And he takes that permission seriously. And we mean that God knows them well in that relationship. So we see many in the Bible. Now, this is something I didn't think much about for many years. And I asked you to consider this. We see many in the Bible, who lived like the 7000 in Elijah's day, in relative earthly obscurity in their day, so that only those in their own in their little small circle of friends and family actually knew who they were. Have you thought about this? Many, many people in the Bible, many people now you and I consider famous? Here's a small list that I just off the top of my head, I just wrote down a small list of people in Scripture, who were not famous are known by many during their lifetimes. And of course, there's many more, Enoch, the Scripture says you not walk with God and he was no more. It never says he was known by a lot of people. Now there's a lot of people know he is now because the book was written. It's been 1000s of years and so forth. Noah, yeah, Noah was known by his neighbors. They didn't have internet. They didn't have social media. Noah was known by his neighbors, but nothing in the Bible indicates that Noah was famous on the earth. All we know is that there was massive murder on the earth. I read an article years ago. They were studying about what the population of the earth probably was during this time, based upon all these factors that we know. And it looks like the Earth was populated with a huge each population of human beings at that time, based upon all the things that we know about that time. And so the earth was not just a few 100,000 people or millions of people, based on those studies, yet Noah was known by God. He was known by heaven, but there's no indication that he was some famous guy in his day, right? Abraham, think about that, Abraham, we I always thought of Abraham, like all of his neighbors and everybody in Egypt, when Abraham got to Egypt, Pharaoh didn't know who Abraham was. He was just a farmer guy with a, a ranch staff, you know, and, but there's no indication that Abraham was known by a whole lot of people. And here he was living out in the desert. First of all, in those days, if you lived out in the desert, you weren't known by a lot of people. How are they going to know about you? If you don't even live in a city right? Now I realize he left us a town. But again, we don't know that he was really famous or well known. Isaac his son, same thing, Jacob, same thing. Now, we can't say that if Joseph Joseph was not known, until actually Joseph was not known until he was brought into Pharaoh's court. Right. Then once he was brought into Pharaoh's court, we understand that all of Egypt knew because he became the governor of Egypt. So that's a little different. But they didn't know who Jacob was. What Egypt didn't know who Jacob was, Pharaoh didn't know who Jacob was, until Joseph introduced them. How about Rachel? Here's another one we don't think about often. Now we think Melchizedek. And the scripture actually tells us that he was not known. Now I understand the Bible calls him the king of Salem. Back in those days, it was a little village called Salem, a little village of people. Now King is a word translated just means governor or mayor, or they don't have they didn't have a different word for all these things in the Hebrew at that time. And so basically, he was the leader of a town is kind of like being a mayor of a town, he was the leader of that town, or in some kind of position of leadership. So he was known in that little town, but he wasn't known what later became Jerusalem. But he wasn't like famous, it wasn't like everyone in the land knew he was there's no indication of Scripture that he was well known. And then the Hebrews writer tells us that he was not well known. In fact, he was so unknown. We don't even know his background. We don't know his mom and dad were we don't know his kids were we don't know any of that. Judah, along with the other tribal leaders of their day, the leaders of the tribes of Israel in their day. Now later on, they were known later on when Israel became a nation, they were known, but at that time, it was just what a dozen brothers or so right, it was just these brothers, in their out just trying to, you know, living in famine, trying to make it. Nobody knew who they were other than just a few people around them. And then I'm using a few in the lineage of Jesus Rahab, the harlot, she was not well known. Now, she became well known in Israel after the issue with her in the deliverance of the spies. And we could go on and some of the Minor Prophets were the same story. I mean, all Now there were prophets like Isaiah and Jeremiah, Maya, they were very well known in their day. But there were also minor prophets like Amos, who was a, I think he was a sheep herder, or he was a little farmer. And then God called him to be a prophet. The idea here is that there are many people in Scripture, who lived in relative obscurity. Even the parents of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the parents of Jesus, not well known, you could go make your own list. But the point is, there are many great people of faith in the scriptures and in history, who were not known, except by they were known by Heaven. And they were known by God. And they were known by the angels, and they were known by a few people around them. We tend to think of the apostles, as famous after the resurrection. We, we think of them as having this worldwide ministry, and everybody knew, you know, and they had Pentecost and, you know, 3000, people came to the Lord at Pentecost. But really, the church in the Roman Empire was viewed as a small cultic movement. That's why they reviewed and there were only few 1000s There weren't even a whole lot of Christians in the Roman Empire during the lifetimes of the apostles. And we don't think about that. The biggest group come to the Lord that we know of was the Pentecost. And after that, we see a little bit here, and a little bit there, and a little bit over here all through Scripture. We see a little bit here and there. Paul, the Scripture teaches us or shows us that may have been more than this. But the Scripture shows us 14 churches, Paul started 14. And in those churches throughout Asia Minor and throughout the Roman Empire, historians estimate that all according to what they know, at that time, all of Paul's churches were house churches. And the largest one, according to the HIS CHURCH historians, was current. And they believe the church at Corinth was right around 75 people based upon what they know of the places they met. And when they study the archaeology of the places they met, because usually they would meet in one of the wealthy members homes, and those homes were not like homes of today, they weren't like massive homes. Some of them had courtyards, little courtyards in the middle, but they estimate that the largest one was 75 people. For some, for some perspective on the apostles ministry in relative obscurity, consider this, many of the leaders in Arun Nova have ministered to more people than the Apostles in their day. Let that sink in. Now, of course, the apostles have ministered to many more than we have, because it's been 1000s of years. And they wrote the scriptures and all of this. But if you go back and look at the numbers, and you know, Peter goes over here, and they administer this group of 50 people, and then they go over here, and they got the 3000, at Pentecost, and then they go over here, and they minister and they start this church, and it becomes a church of 45. And they're going around, no internet, no recording mechanisms, nothing. They're just going around and ministering, many of you, in your time in your lifetimes, so far, have ministered to more people than the apostles ministered to, in their lifetime. Let that sink in. And I'm not saying we're better than the apostles at all, what I'm trying to do is say, look at their faithfulness. They are faithful in their calling. And they what looks little, I realize Pentecost looked big. But don't you know that after Pentecost, they sure would have liked to have seen some more 3000 here and 3000 there man wouldn't have been awesome, you know, but the Bible doesn't tell us that that happened. I'm not saying nothing happened at all, of course, things happen. But the point is to see that they were faithful, just to go out and do the work of God, and be faithful to go where God called them. And we know that church history tells us different places they went. There's all these different places that church history tells us that the apostles went, and we maybe we should look at that sometime. Because it's very interesting, because some of them went to those places and died in those places. And we're not relatively known. I mean, one of the apostles that of church historians believe went to India, on two of the apostles, went to was Armenia, and became and founded the church in Armenia, which is still going it was Thaddeus and one other, I'll have to look it up, I can't remember. But they started the Armenian Church. And that church is still going today that that national church is still going in that country, and has remained all these years. If you look at that country, it's amazing. That country is surrounded by Islamic nations, all these different things and, and that church is still going in. It's just astounding to me. But when the apostles went out, the point is they were being faithful to serve God, they didn't care who knew who they were, they didn't care because they knew Jesus. Right. And that's the point is that we want to walk and live as the remnant I want to live as those hidden Elijah's. I want to live like the remnant that Paul talks about in Romans chapter 11. And I also want to keep perspective, Lord helped me be faithful in my day. I know there are many Christians I've talked to over the last few years and the world being eight to 9 billion people. They feel like man, how can I have that big of an impact are beasts that significant? And God says, Don't worry about it, just be faithful. Just invest the talents that you've been given, and give yourself to the work of God that God's called you to. And just like those apostles, let God worry about the harvest that comes because God knows the harvest that will come and come and you know, each generation of harvest that will come kind of like what we talked about earlier in the testimonies. We just went and did our little thing for two or three days here and there. And then God starts the the movement he brings about the generator shins of harvest that come. And in the meantime, this protects you and I from the enemy's accusations that what you have to give is not significant, you cannot listen to those. And we must teach people and impart this message because the call, I believe personally that the mantle of Elijah Cole is too many people, I believe, think about how many spiritual fathers and mothers God is going to raise up and needs to raise up in the earth to prepare for the coming of the Lord and generational transfer in this society that we're living in, in this world that we're living in. In the adverse conditions, the darkness that comes the Isaiah 60 darkness that starts to cover the earth, we need people who are walking in the light and in the power, who are not intimidated by the darkness, and they are not intimidated by their smallness. Listen, if you are intimidated by your smallness, you will bury your talent, you will bury it, don't do that. Don't be intimidated by your smallness. It's kind of like we said earlier in the sharing time, when the wind of God begins to blow. It's not us that does it. It's God who does it. And then somehow, he takes our little bit our little sacrifice our little work our little ministry, and he uses it to bring about harvest. But at the end of the day, though, farmer cannot take credit because the corn grew. Because the farmer didn't make it grow. All he did was planted, it was the power of God in the creation of the DNA of the corn and the corn plant that made the corn grow, right. So really, the kingdom is 1% and not even 1%. But um, you'll understand the analogy. The kingdom is 1% worked by us and 99% God's work. And so we do it faithfully, in the call of God. Man, that just excites me. But it also, you know, you guys know, one of the things on my heart is to call people into their calling that that's my passion. That's why so many of you guys, Minister in so many in our spiritual families and family families minister, because I have this passion, my heart, call people into their calling, call people into their destiny, call people into the place where God's called help people see how important they are to God. And it's not because we're important to the mission, because God can do the mission without us. But he doesn't want to, he's chosen to bring us into that inheritance. And so I don't want to embrace this inheritance with 10%. I want to embrace the inheritance with 1,000%. And I want to help you embrace the inheritance with 1,000%. So you, you might get tired of me inviting you to do all these ministry things. And you might get tired in ministry, I understand you might even need a break. But hey, don't grow weary in well doing, endure hardness as a good soldier. Keep pressing on. And don't say this is not a sprint, this, this race we're in is not a sprint, it's a marathon, right? So the idea is not to get out there and run 1000 miles an hour or however fast you can run. It's to get out and just run and let that endurance build. And you know what, we'll do more and more in ministry, but we'll do it with endurance, we'll do it at the right pace, you'll get that groove, you'll get that pace. And sometimes when you get that pace, after a while you can Oh, you know what? I feel pretty good. I think I can turn up the volume a little bit. I think I can turn up the pace a little bit. And sometimes you'll bet you know, I'm gonna pull the pace back just a little bit. You'll know that pace to keep but the idea is that you're running. Don't say well, all I'm good for is just sit in the church pay my tithes. And, and, and maybe do kids ministry once every month. Don't say that. Because it's not true. You have way more to give. And I'm preaching to you the choir, but I'm really speaking to all the people who are listening to this, the people on zoom as well, our family and friends there. Because this is the message, the message will have its greatest power, not when I share it with you. It's going to have its greatest power when you share it with the next spiritual generation. And they share it with their next and we've already seen we've seen that spiritual fruit can go through two generations in three weeks. That's what we just experienced. Right? So when I say generation don't think a long time because sometimes, you know some of you that lead people to the Lord last month, you know, and it's so amazing. I didn't even try and we ended up leaving people the Lord. We're already spiritual grandparent. And it's not even been a month. Let that sink in. So what we're saying is that when we share and we minister and we've empowered and we do the things God calls us to do, most of the power is in the future generations. That's the way multiplication works. And many times, I've known many folks who say, Man, if I don't get altar full of people get saved, or they do this, and these all this, and then they think they're not doing a good job. I'm like, don't worry about that. Let the Holy Spirit worry about that. Right? Because even if it's just that one or two, and then they start sharing before long, it multiplies, it has a way of multiplying in a fascinating way. Man, I don't even know if we're gonna get to Melchizedek this morning. All this? I'm so excited about this. But I just pray that you and I will see two things. I pray that we will first see how little we are. God can do this without us. And when we bring our little talents, our little bit our sacrifice, it's big to us. The Sacrifice is big to us. But in the grand scheme of things, it's little. And God if he doesn't use us if we don't say yes, he'll use somebody else just like was a Mordecai told Esther, right. But he has a way of doing it miraculously. So number one, is that we see how little we are. Number two is my prayer is that we see how big we are in God in God's eyes. You know, it's kind of like I told you guys, when our kids were little, I wanted to teach my kids to work. And now all my kids will tell you, we taught them to work, didn't we? Some of them were in here. We taught them to work. And we also taught them not to waste time. So we had guidelines on okay, this is kind of wasteful. So you can only do this 30 minutes a day, right? Remember that? And then we say okay, but here they are in diapers. And I'm like, Okay, it's time for you to start learning to load the dishwasher. Well, they didn't know how to load the dishwasher. And then we had to redo the whole thing. Day after day after day after day, after month after month, we had to reload the dishwasher, because I wanted them working. So they learned as a habit, how joyful it is to work. Did I need them to load the dishwasher no matter of fact, it was easier without them doing it. Because all the spoons got stuck over here and the pans were upside down. And there were you know, there's no dishes in this section, it was kind of like decorating the tree at Christmas time, all the ornaments got put on one little section, you know, and then after they go to bed bath, and I put them on all around the tree. But the point is, is that I wanted them to learn to work with me and me with them. Because that's the Father's heart, right? The Father's heart is to grow them up to know how to work, but also to enjoy the fellowship of the journey together. And so then what happens is you raise up children physically and spiritually, who love to journey together. And they love to work together. And they love to work through whatever conflict there is and find resolution. And they love to work in the vineyard together. And the joy of working in the joy of being together is all part of it. So whenever we talk about our bigness to see, I want you to see how small we are. But also I want you to see how big we are. And that is in God's eyes. See, we're little but in God's eyes were big. So we see our smallness. That's why Jesus says when you come into the Heavenly Kingdom, the servants will say that the Lord will reward them the servants will say, Lord, we're just unprofitable servants. They didn't mean Lord. We didn't do anything. What they mean is, is God, what we did, compared to the grand scheme of things is nothing. He's showing us the heart of faithful servants. It's not they're not lying about the fruit that was in their lives that what they're saying is God, they see I see my smallness. In the grant in the kingdom. I see my smallness. Man, when I stand next to God, I'm not an even an ant. But in God's eyes, I'm a son, and I'm becoming the Bride of Christ. Wow. That's the inheritance. So we see our smallness, and we see our bigness. And this this mantle of Elijah that God's called us to in this hidden Elijah's concept. The beauty of it is in the hidden Elijah's and what we're going to get to in the Melchizedek of the kingdom, the those who walk in this kingly order this priestly order Melchizedek. And we won't do this today because we don't have time. But they those people in earthly obscurity, we see our smallness but in heavenly fame, we see our our greatness. It's not us. We didn't create that fine we didn't. It's the love the Father has for us. That lifts us up. I was just reading in. In the Psalms this week I was praying one of the Psalms and David was saying, Lord, you've lifted me up. And then he said, Lord, let my glory honor you. I can't remember the exact words but the glory was the glory God brought into his life, the his mountain, what he calls his mountain. And literally, we see our smallness, and we see our greatness and our smallness, is who we are in our greatness is who God says we are and who God sees us as the Father, Amen. This is probably a good place to, to break here. And then we can have some sharing. But I want to pray for us. I want to pray for those who are listening. And joining us on zoom as well as listening to the teaching library today. Lord, we just thank you that you are giving us an understanding of how small and how insignificant we really are. I mean, Lord, we're just like grasshoppers, we're. And yet you've chosen to love us, and to create us and to a point, a future that is still unknown, but beyond anything that we can imagine. And so we thank You, Lord, for the greatness of the father how you see us. And Lord, we pray, give us a revelation of our smallness. Give us a revelation of our littleness, so that we will have humility in the fear of the Lord. And Lord, we pray, give us a revelation of our greatness in your eyes, so that we will have faith and confidence. And Lord truly enter into your calling for our lives and who we are. And I pray this for all my friends and family. I pray this for those who are listening. I pray this for those who will hear and receive this message from those who are hearing and receiving it now and those beyond who will hear and receive it throughout spiritual generations, so that the word of the Lord takes hold in every heart and brings great, extraordinary fruit in divine destiny in every life in Jesus name.
