BEWARE OF THE TRAP OF NEVER ENOUGH- DR. ROD MILLS

If you have what you need for the day, you have what you need.  Be careful not to get caught up in the trap of “never enough” Do not say I need more.  Instead, be faithful with what you have been given, and you will be given more.

Throughout time, if the farmer needed a greater harvest of corn, he saved out more seed corn and sowed the corn as seed.  Those who fall into the trap of saying they do not have enough, usually spend their time consuming their seed corn and asking for more; and thus, sowing less.  There is nothing wrong with asking for more. But we are instructed to cooperate with God in our obedience and sowing.

2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV): “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

If you need more time, be faithful with the time you have been given, and give more time to God, starting with your relationship with Him.  This is one reason why I have endeavored to give my best times of the day to God to connect with Him, and my best years to God to serve Him. If you haven’t done this, you can start now. You do not have to live with regrets!

If you need more money, be faithful with the money you have been given, and give more money to God.  This is why we have endeavored for decades to give God the tithe and maximum offerings on top of the tithe. Giving is about much more than money because it causes many harvests in our lives to grow.  It is a great joy to give and it is a great joy to see each one of God’s harvests grow in multiplication!

If you need more wisdom and revelation, be faithful with the wisdom and revelation you have been given. Give it to those who are hungry for righteousness.  This is why we have endeavored to teach God’s people day and night with all our hearts for many decades.  This is why we always seek to study the scriptures and keep prayer journals faithfully for decades, to record what God is doing and saying in our lives; and to share these things with our own spiritual community as well as other spiritual communities and families.

With all my heart, I want to see people sow bountifully and reap bountifully in good harvests in every area of their lives. This is the way of the kingdom!
