Spiritual Insights For 2023 & Beyond (Part 4) Noahic Rest - Rod Mills
Throughout Scripture we see God reveal to his people His plans and highlight certain focuses for the coming season of time. Each year, we pray and seek the Lord for His guidance, insights, and direction for the upcoming year. This series is an overview of some of the prophetic insights God is highlighting to the AeroNova spiritual family for the year 2023 and beyond.
There is a faithfulness that comes from being settled in the place which God has called us. But how do we “not grow weary while doing good”? By seeing the invisible harvest and keeping company with people who remain 100% in the race.

We are continuing on our spiritual insights for 2023 and beyond. And this is the I believe it's the fourth installment but it's my third one because we did have we grouped up your sharing on New Year's Eve night several of you had shared and we group that up together into one teaching group. So that'll be published together, hopefully here in another week or so. So this should be I think this is part four. But those of you listening on the teaching library, you'll have to look and see what it says I'm not positive. So we're kind of put the kings of tomorrow series on hold until we finish this because we really felt like, we need to get as much as we can the word out on what we're sensing for this year and beyond. And also Lucy had some thing she's going to share that we're going to be sure we want to get that recorded. So she'll be able to share that with us also. But where we left off, we we were actually, let me pull up my notes here. We were talking about as in the days of Noah, and the parallels that we're seeing, as God is calling us to see the perspective of Noah. And and keep in mind when we say this, we're not necessarily saying that the there's there's a flood or a judgment coming next year, that's not what we're saying, as in the days of Noah was many years, right. So just keep that in mind. One of the things that we shared in this, this section called as in the days of Noah was keep the wells open, and the blueprints unrolled. And this is keep reviewing, keep referring back to the things that God has showed us, shown us and spoken to us. And I believe this is one reason why prayer journaling is very important. Now, our spiritual family largely prayer journals, guys, we want to call out people to prayer journal, we want to encourage them, we want to inspire people to journal in their prayer journals. If they if you don't have one, I encourage you to start. A few years ago, I transitioned from a written prayer journal to an electronic prayer journal, because I found that the search feature works great. And I have 1000s of pages now. So it makes it a lot easier. So I encourage people do this because we don't want we don't want to lose the things that God has directed us to do in life are the things that he's shown us. Have you ever written something down, and then you go back like two years later, and you're like, I forgot all about this. And sometimes I even go, I'm not sure I remember this, and I start reading it and it starts coming back to me. I want to be faithful with everything the Lord's given me. And in order to do that, I find that my memory is not good enough. Without journaling. Journaling is accurate, especially if you record it when it's fresh. And I encourage people to prayer journal, so that we can be faithful with all that God has given us. Sometimes, folks start looking for a new word or a new vision, when God is calling them to be faithful with the words and the vision that he's already given them. Now you guys know me I love new vision. I love fresh direction I love I mean, those of us that spent our lives in the military, you know, we like it because you change jobs, change bosses, change houses, change locations, there's always these cool seasons that you can go into, and it's different than the last season. If we're not careful, we will find ourselves needing the new Have you ever known someone like that where they always need to be buying new stuff? It's I'm like, What's wrong with the old stuff? You got pretty good car now? Or yes, the car is a good example. You know, I have certain friends and some of them boy, they got a new car every year every two years. I got to and so what's wrong with the other one? Oh, just needed a new one. You know, I'm not criticizing you if you do that, but I'm really calling out, hey, there's something spiritual that we need to do and that is to really move in all of the wells God's placed in our lives. So the wells the resource, the the the words that God is speaking I want to stay faithful to those so that I don't, I don't Oh, I'm not always looking for the new shiny thing. Now, the cool thing is when we do that, God will bring fresh revelation into our lives. We love a new vision, we love fresh direction. But I want to be like Moses was said, he was faithful in all of God's house. That means I want to be faithful in everything. The things that the Lord taught me in my teens in my 20s, my 30s, in my 40s, now in my 50s, and I want to be faithful to God, in the things that he's done in my life and shown me in every season and in all of the areas of the house of God. I love this passage in Matthew chapter 13, verse 52, Jesus says, Therefore, every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven, is like a householder, who brings out of his treasure, things new and things old. Even in Jesus day, he teaches us that those who are instructed concerning the kingdom had to have the skill of drawing upon the revelation God had already given them in their day he had given Israel right. And the revelation he was giving at the present time, see that they go together, we don't want to separate the two. And the same is true for us today. Now, think about Noah for a minute. We mentioned this last week, for 120 years of art building, Noah had to rise every day, and do his best to be on his A game. Now, I know everybody here knows what that feels like. We all know what that's like. But he had to stay the course. And he had to walk in God's joy in that journey. Now, if you given a task, if you know nothing about shipbuilding, and you've never seen a flood, and people are making fun of you, and the world is wicked, and God calls you to build this giant yacht called an ark, that's going to carry all these animals, you're going to have to have some joy in your life, you're going to have to have some happiness, I'm talking about divine happiness, not worldly happiness, you're gonna have to have some divine happiness in your life, or you're not going to make it you're not going to finish the job. And we this is just a net, we wouldn't we know this about human behavior. We've all had enough experience with human behavior that we know it. And he had to find and cultivate resources, and develop skills he didn't have, there was no shipbuilding or engineering school for Noah to go to. Right. He didn't, there was no school for him to enroll in to learn shipbuilding. So you see the challenge that we're getting we're becoming familiar with. And the same is true for us concerning the kingdom of God. Whatever the task God has given us, no matter how big it may sing, no matter how impossible, it may seem, you've got this. Guys, you've got this. And the Lord wants you and me to know it. Listen, no matter how hard this looks, you need to know I am with you in this. And a matter of fact, not only have you got this, but you're going to enjoy it and you're going to learn some things, right? Think of Noah Galatians six, nine says, and let us not grow weary while doing good. For in due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart, one key, just one now there's many keys. So one key and not growing weary, is seeing the invisible harvest. So right now the harvest is invisible, you don't see the harvest of all your investment into what God's calling you to do. Now, if you're my age or older, you've seen some harvest in your life, you've seen some bad harvest, and you've seen some good harvest. And you really appreciate the power of the seed more than I did when I was 20 years old. I appreciate the power locked up inside one seat. But it's important for us that we always see that harvest. Remember what we said Jesus said, Don't do not say, you know, for months, and then the harvest, he said, Lift up your eyes. So I believe that and this is a different application. But whether we're looking for the harvest of souls or whether we're looking for the harvest, that God is going to bring in our lives later on and in eternity. We have to lift up our eyes, lift up your eyes. Another key we find is Thessalonians. Paul said in Second Thessalonians chapter three, I'm reading in verse 13, he says, But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good. And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed, yet do not Don't count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. Now my first question is, Paul, what does growing weary have to do with calling out people who are among us who are in sin? And I'm like, Whoa, man, that's pretty heavy. Like what's that got to do with the with each other. And one of the keys and not growing weary, is keeping company with people who are 100% invested in the race. You see what's happening here, he's going, okay. He's not saying hey, become critical, and go around and tell people their sin. That's not what he's saying. Now, he's saying, hey, if there's, if there's some sin among you, go ahead and call it out. But listen, don't walk in that because you will grow weary. That's a sure way to grow weary. Now, I love this and army and I don't really love it, I'm saying that tongue in cheek, but in the army, whenever we'd go on these long runs, or long road marches, and if somebody started faltering or falling, I mean, I've seen people, Tom, you've probably seen this. I've seen guys, I've been out on row marches, guys fall over dead of heart attack, I've seen it happen several times. And you're on long run, and guys are going dry, you know, they're screaming and yelling at them to try harder and don't fall and all this. And the point is, there's only so much the human body can do. And if you have not prepared, it doesn't matter how much someone yells, it will not change the chemistry and the physiology of your body. So when Paul says do not grow weary, he understands that just saying that doesn't change the physiology of your soul. Right? It doesn't like all of a sudden insert endurance inside of you, right? In other words, He's showing us ways to gain that endurance. And so we see one is to see the invisible harvest. The other one is to is to keep company with people who are 100% in the race. And Ephesians three, Paul shows us that this is done by walking in the light. Now, here's the risk of me teaching on this, so much of it for people who have been a Christian very long. When I start talking about it. It hits the cliche zone. Does anybody here know what the cliche zone is? The cliche zone is when I say something, it sounds like cliche, because you've heard it so many times. And so the only meaning it has is the meaning it's always had. Are you tracking? So let's go into this. And let's let the Holy Spirit perhaps, open some new meaning to us in it. Ephesians chapter five, verse eight. He says, For You were once in darkness, but now you are. For you are once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. So not in darkness. He says, For once you word darkness, now you are light in the Lord walk as children of light. For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth, finding out what is acceptable to the LORD, And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. But we don't hear a lot of teaching on that anymore, do we? Hmm. But rather expose them. Now. This is two scriptures. I didn't just go pick these. They came up when I was looking at the endurance stuff, he says, but rather expose them Amen. None of us like that. Do it's like man, I'm uncomfortable doing that. Right? I don't want to I don't want to ruffle any feathers or anything. But he I'm just telling you what the Bible says. He says expose them. For it is shameful to even speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed, they're revealed or made manifest by the light for whatever makes manifest is light. And here's the cool thing about this. If you go back to that last passage, it's directly connected to not fainting. You see where I'm going with this. fellowship with darkness will sabotage spiritual endurance. It doesn't matter how strong you are. It doesn't matter how strong I am. It does. You can pick the greatest spiritual giant, you know, and as soon as they start fellowshipping with darkness, what will happen when somebody fellowships with darkness, they start losing their spiritual stamina, they start losing their ability to see the invisible harvest. They start losing their ability to have that joy that they once had. And the darkness starts to steal it away like a parasite, I'll say like an unseen parasite. Now, those of us that have been living a few years I've watched many people go through this and it's a sad thing. And you go you're going to come on now to the darkness is doing So let me help you. Let's walk through this. Come on. That's why Paul says expose it. He's like, if you can expose it and they can see it, you can help them get the get that parasite off. Because a parasite, a lot of times people who have a parasite don't even know they have a parasite, you know that. Right? When we were kids, some of us had parasites, right. I know, I know we did. I don't know about where you grew up. But where we grew up, we did. Well, it's a great weight loss method. Because you can eat a lot and you'll lose weight. But the problem is, there's something living inside of you, and it's eating away. And you don't want that to happen. And that's the nature of darkness. Now, Nancy, you shared this passage today, you didn't know this was in my notes. So I knew it was from when you spoke as a, this is from the Lord. People who walked partially in the darkness and partially in the light will become weary. Because darkness is like weight. They don't even know it. They don't, they aren't aware that it's weighing them down. All they know is is that they're tired, they lose energy, they lose joy. They lose stamina, but they don't know why. It's like someone with a parasite. They have it but they don't know have a parent. They don't know they have a parasite. They don't know why they're losing weight. They don't know why they're weak. They don't know why. They're always tired. They don't know why weird things are happening in their body. Because that parasite is like darkness. Paul are not Paul, but whoever the writer of Hebrews is, which might be Paul, they say, he says this, And Hebrews 12. One and this was the passage Nancy read this morning. Therefore we also, since we're surrounded by so great, a cloud of witnesses. I love this. He tells us our context before he tells us what to do. I love context, because most of the time context is opening our eyes into the greater realms. He says, Therefore, we also since we're surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance, the race that set before us. He relates the run with the sin with the darkness, you see where he's going with this. In other words, he's going, Hey, there's an easy way to run. Now, when I was in my military days, it was hard for me I was a runner, I loved running, but I was not natural. Like some guys, I had to work for every ounce. Every second of speed, I had to work twice as hard to some guys. Some of those dudes, man, they're just like, thin as all get out. They could get out and we'd be out in the field for a month and nobody's working out. We'd get back and then they take off run six minute mile for five or six months. I'm like, Man, oh, I wish I was like that, you know, there were light. They were you know, they just could run. And usually it's because they didn't have a lot of weight on him. No matter how strong you are. If you put a 2030 pound weight on and then you try to do the same run. It gets really hard or much harder than it used to. And Paul shows or Hebrews writer shows us that laying aside wait and I'm gonna say darkness, because sin Wait, darkness. This all of this lane. This aside is the key to long distance running now have you noticed? Even a someone who's heavier can run short distance. Now one of the things that we like to do when I was stationed in Alaska, we brought a pretty good number of football players, NFL football players up there. And I guess I can say it publicly a lot of them were from the Green Bay Packers. And we had to quarterback up there a few times. We met in fact, our kids have all had lunch with Aaron Rodgers back when he was just a young quarterback. I don't know if he would remember it, but they remember it. But we would take him out to do PT. Well, we found out right away football players don't like to do five mile runs. They don't even like to do three mile runs. They'll do sprints, they'll do short runs, but they're used to running 100 yards or less. Right. And they let us know that right away. There are Hey guys, we're short distance runners. Because they're big, a lot of them are big. And that's the nature of short distance running is different because when you're a short distance runner, you can be a really muscular guy or gal and you can go run bum Italia. If you start running 10 mile runs, you got to shed some weight. And that's what Paul's telling us here. The run we're in is not about how fast you go. It's about how far you go to the tape the end. That's God's calling. And we're this is part of this in the days of Noah theme that we're in as we talked Talk about this because this time the trial of in the days of Noah, and I believe a parallel to the time that Noah was in, Noah was a long distance runner in his faith, he was not, you don't do what he did. If you're a short distance runner, you do what he did, because you're a long distance runner spiritually. And we're currently in a time when many Christians are beginning to faint in the way of godliness. I was with a good friend of mine this week, who's a pastor who is a pastor of a of a sizable church. And we got on this discussion, because we're seeing this everywhere in the churches. And we're seeing that many people are beginning to faint in the way of godliness. Now the world is increasing the pressure, the culture is not what it was 3040 50 years ago. So the culture is introducing all kinds of darkness and doing it boldly, introducing and trying to institutionalize wickedness on a major level, and calling it good. And so we're in this time, but I want to tell you that the this fainting in the way of godliness is not primarily because of the world's pressure, as much as it is compromise. With darkness. I'm talking about the church. So when the church begins to compromise with darkness, then the pressure of the world becomes unbearable. And they succumb to just agreeing with the way of the world, Satan and the devil. You see what I mean? So we tend to blame the culture will say, Well, you know, the world's get, it's starting to put pressure and it is the world is putting pressure. Right now, there's an immense amount of pressure that the world and different institutions in the world are putting on the church trying to say, you're not right, you need to believe this way. This is right. And there's a pressure that's been applied, and it's intensifying, because they have created their own religion with its own virtues. And they're not virtue, and God says they're not virtue. There. In fact, a lot of them are very dangerous. And God, you know, and this God's This is not the first time he's encountered people doing this. He's been encountering people doing this for a long, long time. And the Scripture tells us, it's demonic. It's it's a demonic doctrine. We don't have time to talk about that today. But the key here is that that pressure is not the primary reason why people are fainting in the way of godliness and falling away. It's because of their compromise with that darkness. As soon as they start to come into agreement with that darkness in their personal lives, then the pressure is insurmountable. So the interior life is so important for us. What are we talking about the days of Noah, we're talking about living like Noah lived? Don't you know, the pressure and the ridicule on Noah was overwhelming in his day. And yet the scripture says He was a righteous man. He was blameless in his generations, He was holy. And we don't mean holier than thou. We mean, he was set apart unto God, and he had a relationship with God. In fact, Genesis says, He walked with God. Now that's a familiar phrase, because his grandfather, remember, Enoch walked with God. And the Bible says he was no more because he walked so closely. There's a growing spiritual sentiment. We talked about this briefly before. But there's a growing spiritual sentiment among many in the church, that some kind of judgment is coming. As an act of God's mercy toward future generations. This sentiment is intensifying. And I believe it comes from the Holy Spirit. And I believe it is not God trying to scare us. It's God preparing us. The cool thing about the story of Noah's life was God wasn't trying to scare him when he said, No, there's a flood coming. God was trying to prepare him so that he would be safe, so that he could not escape the judgment, but go through it and be protected in it. Amen. Which is escaping, I understand, but it was like he didn't know he was still in the flood, right? He was still in the flood, but he escaped the judgment while being in the flood. Maybe that's a better way to say it. Now, some churches are really keyed into this. Some churches are ambivalent about it. And some churches are just oblivious. They're not they they're not tracking on it. So really, check my notes here. I think I skipped a page here. Ephesians really is for us today. It's for now. And so I hope that you guys can see this. Repent repentance, preparation, full obedience in life. life decisions and holy living. They are paramount right now God is saying Don't wait. Don't wait. No matter where you are in your life, no matter what mistakes you've made, I've made we've made no matter where you are. Don't wait right now full obedience in life decisions holy living, it's absolutely paramount. Some will be prepared, and some will not. Now I love the mercy of God, God's mercy is great. If you ever noticed that when God allow something like this to happen, or causes something like this to happen don't by judgment. Have you ever noticed how long the space for repentance is? It's usually very extensive. Now, it doesn't seem long to everybody, because some people aren't tracking and then all of a sudden boom hits. But for those who are listening and keyed in to God, they will be ready in that time of Passover. Paul said in First Corinthians 10. Moreover, brethren, I do not this is 10 verse one, I do not want you to be unaware that all of our fathers were under the cloud. And all of them pass through the sea. All of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud, and in the sea. All of them ate the same spiritual food. All of them drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of that spiritual Rock, capitalizing the English that followed them. And that rock was Christ. Stop right there. He said, They were in the midst of the protection and blessing. They were baptized, if you will. And through the Red Sea, they came out on the other side, they were fed by that spiritual Rock Jesus, but he doesn't stop there. And this is Paul's warning to the church. But with most of them, God was not well pleased. Who, man that hits me when I read that. I'm like, Whoa, now you got my attention. I'm looking in the mirror. Now. I'm looking in the mirror. For their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. And now these things stop here. For all the people who say the Old Testament is doesn't apply to us. There's some people teaching that today are the God of Old Testament was not the New Testament. All this by the way, the apostles only preached out of one Bible. It's called the Old Testament. That's number one. Number two, read verse six. Now, these things became our examples that is in the church, To the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. Whoa, okay, now you got my attention, Lord, because he just said all the things in the Old Testament, apply to us here. Those were not all the things but those things he just said. And do not become idolaters as some of them. As it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play. It's interesting, well, who he calls idolaters. You know the story, nor let us commit sexual immorality as some of them did. And in one day, 23,000 fell, nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted. Some people who say the Old Testament doesn't apply to us. Well, first of all, some people would say, Well, Jesus wasn't even there. Well, yes, he was. That's what he just said, they tempted Christ. Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God, right. So the Old Testament is for us in that respect, and they were destroyed by serpents. Neither complain as some of them also complained, and they were destroyed by the destroyer. Now, all these things happen to them as examples. For who? Yeah, for us, and they were written for our admonition. Oh, I tell you, I would much rather learn from somebody else's mistakes than from mine. Because the ones I've learned from were expensive. You want to learn from mistakes, the sale going on is right here. That's the fire sale right there. God goes, Hey, you don't have to pay the price. You don't have to do this. You can learn from their example. He says they were written for our admonition upon whom the end of the ages have come. In other words, here comes the end of the ages are coming at us real fast, just like we were talking about you were speaking that scripture from Isaiah, the increase of His kingdom shall not in Kingdom of the kingdom of God is dawning rapidly nothing's going to slow it down. It's coming fast at us. And upon the end of the ages. It's funny, he's not he even says we're not It's not us coming to the end of the ages. It's the end of the age is coming upon us. Time is coming at you. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. All right. So this leads us into this next thing I have no aaic rest and comfort. I love this thing Jennifer sent out a recorded message on New Year's Eve. If you if you're on the prayer streams go listen to that. And maybe she'll have some things to share here today, because she's on with us on Zoom. But she shared this word about no a crest and being called to comfort. And I tell you, this is something God's been speaking to me about. And I don't even think she knew it. And I didn't know until she shared that this was a theme that the Lord was touching her on. But I believe this is a timely word for the season, that we are in more than just 2023. But I believe especially starting now, and this Noah's name, I pulled this lexicon definition up, I want to read it to you know his name. And Jennifer had mentioned this in a recording it, it means quieting, or soothing. And that root word that this Noah's name comes from, has several different meanings and variations depending upon which variation of the lemma the root word that you get, but it's a giving of rest. Or when you see the word Minoa, which comes from Noah, it means a resting place. And the root signifies not only a resting place, but absence of movement, being settled in, in a particular place. You know what that's like, right? You're not restless, you're not being moved, you're tossed here and about as much as you're settled in. You're in a particular place. You're settled in, there's an absence of movement, and there's these overtones of finality. But what's interesting is there's also these overtones of meaning of salvation and victory. So it's this idea that you are, it's kind of like when he says I will, when David says that, He will set a table in the presence of his enemies. There's that, you know, yeah, you're he's surrounded by his enemies. And yet, he's sitting there eating, and he's in a place of rest, and comfort. And yet God has set this table. He's communing with God and friends. And yet he's he's got enemies around him. But somehow there's a victory in that rest. Does that track with you. So just as we discussed God's call, for us to remain faithful in the old wells, as well as the new, there is a faithfulness, that comes from being settled in the place God has called us. Whenever we settle in the place, God has called us and we get in a place of rest in that groove of God's calling. God sets a table there. And we have a continuity and a faithfulness, we're not up, I gotta go do this up, I gotta go out there, oh, there's a new shiny thing up, there's a new shiny that and getting distracted by all the shiny things the enemy throws our way. In the world and the world around us, you see that rest? It's kind of like going, No, I can rest here. And I'm settled in this. But there's also a connotation of victory in that rest, like we see David describe. And I believe there are several applications of this no ache rest, and I'm gonna throw them out to you. There is the no ache rest in the building journey. Think of Noah that no acre is no his name that rest the building journey. Noah had to develop. We talked about this the craftsmanship of a shipbuilder and knowledge and skills that he didn't have. But there is a God kind of rest in this journey, and a deep fulfillment in learning and building something. So he's there. He's in the project. He's building, he's engineering, he's learning the craftsmanship. But he's settled in that place. And in that calling, does that. Do you guys relate to that? I mean, I'll tell you I do a few years ago, some of you remember I was taking some woodworking classes. And man, I was really uneasy about it at first because I mean, I had worked in a woodshop and learned some woodworking when I was a teenager, and I loved it. So this was really my first chance since then I got in there and start doing it. And boy, I tell you, once I got in the groove, and I started learning the stuff. It was like this rest. It was like, Yeah, I was working. But it was a settled pneus like, Man, I can do this, this I can learn this and you're growing in it. And there's that kind of rest and I often think maybe no, it was experiencing something like that, as he was building the ark in a world of chaos and murder, and every kind of sin around him. Noah was The light and the rest of God in the midst of the darkness in the midst of the unrest in the midst of all kinds of wickedness that was going on. Now, yeah, they thought he was crazy. But I imagine if they wanted to see somebody with peace on their lives, they'd go talk to Noah. They might go, No, you're crazy man. I've never seen anything like is what in the world are you doing? But they knew when they got there, I'm speculating. But um, I think it's a pretty safe speculation that when they got there, they're like, Man, this guy, he might be crazy. But he's building a nice ship out here in the middle of nowhere. You can you kind of feel that, you know, it's like, you know what I'm talking about, you get into a project. And it's a beautiful project, and you're learning the craftsmanship of it, and you're enjoying it. And there's just a god kind of rest in the work itself. Then there's the Noah crest in the sailing journey. Now, this one's a little different. This is the rest and the communion of God's people, and the Ark of protection during judgment. Imagine the extremes that they were experiencing in that time when the flood started. The intense storm, the flood, the waves, the storm, contrasted to protection and security, and food, and animals and sustenance inside the ark. Can you feel that? So there's this massive storm, you're in this massive storm on an ocean that didn't exist a few days ago. And it's crazy, it's raining, and it's insane. And you're in a ship full of animals. But it's secure. You're safe. Yeah, the ships bouncing around, maybe gets seasick a couple of times, but you're in this secure zone, so to speak, in that place. And there's a rest in that unknown a crest, and know his name means this. So he's carrying this rest of God upon his life, even though they were surrounded by judgment. Inside that they were surrounded by mercy, in the midst of the judgment. We see this same rest in the Passover, while the judgment passed over, and the children of Israel rested. And they broke bread together. And they communed with one another and with God. I don't know what it was like in the real story. But I know that when I watched the movie, the 10 commandments, people are rushing inside homes that have the blood over them, because they know there'll be safe, at least people with faith. And they're singing songs. Now they on that movie, they're kind of like chants, Gregorian chants or something. But they're singing and they're, you know, the Lord God, and they're, you know, just singing to the Lord. But they're communing together. And they're safe in that place. Even though they're being surrounded by judgment, and the firstborn or die and left and right all over the place. They are still secure in the rest of God. And when I think of the, when I think of the ark, rest, the rest of Noah in the ark, in the judgment, I think of Moses, with the children of Israel, in their homes, with the blood of the Lamb, covering them. Now, my prayer for us is that we will continue to walk and prepare for grow closer to the Lord, build an altar in our homes, continue the first step in altar in an art building is altar building, right? We build an altar, and then God tells us prepare this way, prepare that way, and we prepare spiritually and we prepare physically, and Gods God will prepare us for what's coming. But God wants us to be tuned in, not grow weary in well doing. And it's time to get serious like don't, even if it's get serious for the next 50 years, or the next 50 days, whatever it is, get serious, like, since the urgency. And like Noah, he had to sense the urgency for over 100 years. So every day he had to be tuned in he had to be part of it. But if we're in the rest of God, and we're not compromising in the darkness, because the darkness is what is what really burns people out, they get burned out, because they're they're compromising or they're not drinking from the wells, of old and new wells that God sends. Amen. So that's I just sent today. This No, a crest is a theme that God is speaking to us and I pray that God will speak more to you and perhaps you could share it with the rest of us because this theme is I believe, going to be very important. It's not enough to just kind of grin and bear it. Like oh, I'm just is going to have to last, you know, we have to enter into this know a crest of God this groove in the spirit of faithfulness and living in the light. And then we'll be sustained for the judgment that's coming, and the things that God will be doing in the earth. Now, part of our role is to prepare the generations that we are here with the generation that we live in, but also the next generation that we're raising up. It's we're called to prepare them, guys, we cannot prepare them unless we are prepared ourselves, right? Like we have to be preparing our hearts. And that's what qualifies us to help prepare them for the things that will come. And we are generational in that because we believe in generational transfer, because that's the mantle of Elijah. And that's the calling that's upon us as God's people. Let's pray. Lord, we thank You for this call. We thank You, Lord, that we were born into the best time we could be born in because this was the time you ordained for us to be alive on the earth. And so we pray God help us not to look and think that a mistake was made. Help us to see that we were born for this our for this time for this generation. And we pray in Jesus name, that you'll bring this urgency of spirit upon us, that you will bring in Lord, that grace and that anointing to run with endurance, to not compromise with the darkness and to run and not be weary to walk and not fake to mount up with wings as eagles in our day, and live in these promises in Jesus name. Amen.
