Nancy Wheatley

Pastor Colorado Mission House, Spiritual Director, and Director of Inner Healing
Nancy Wheatley is a lover of God who spent 31 years loving and serving Soldiers and their families alongside her Army Chaplain husband, Tom. The Wheatleys are now embracing a new season of civilian life in beautiful Colorado Springs, cheering on their three grown sons as they pursue God’s call on their lives.
Nancy is a teacher at heart and is passionate about building up the Bride of Christ. She has been involved in women’s and youth ministry for over 25 years, teaching countless Bible studies, including several she designed herself, and has served at all levels of ministry leadership. One of her favorite things to do is to encourage women through writing and speaking; she has been blessed to speak at programs, retreats, workshops, and conferences since 2004. Nancy is also devoted to prayer (Col 4:2), leading several prayer groups in which participants intercede for each other, for our nation, and for God’s purposes in the earth.
Through her journey with Jesus, Nancy has also become intent on seeing the Bride of Christ learn to walk in wholeness, freedom, love and power. She teaches powerfully about the finished work of Christ, enabling believers to break free of that which hinders them from living in the New Creation identity Jesus has provided (2 Cor 5:17). Lives are transformed by the Word and the Holy Spirit as Nancy ministers in workshops and one-on-one prayer. In this season of her life, she is devoting much of her energy to inner healing prayer sessions and equipping others to fulfill the Isaiah 61 mission of the Messiah through inner healing.
Nancy holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Boston University (1986) and a M.Div. in Practical Ministry from Global Awakening Theological Seminary (2020). She is currently the instructor of Emotional Healing and Soul Care I at Global Awakening College of Ministry and is a Fellow in the Center for Transformational Living as well as a teaching pastor in the Colorado Springs Mission House. She is ordained through AeroNova and is being trained as a Spiritual Director through Healing Care Ministries. Her teachings are available on the AeroNova Teaching Library.
